I'm really interested to see the results also. Theres been so many heated debates, but we haven't found out the real answer to the radix limit yet.

When's the thing going on the dyno?

It'll also be neat to see how the D1 does.

I am expecting to max out the blower. There is no way this blower will get the truck in to the 11's, I know that. Just want to see the limit of the blower. I am expecting around a 50hp gain. Right now the truck feels great down low, but does seem to fall off in high gear. I plan on going to the dyno this week. I will post number as soon as possible. I might hit the track tomorrow night. I wil keep you posted.

Thanks,

Here's the update.....we can not dyno it, at least locally. We took it over to a local dyno shop that has a Dynapak all wheel drive dyno. This is the dyno's that bolt to wheels, problem is they do not load the wheels evenly. This caused big problems, as the allwheel drive system was trying to compensate for each wheel. We will be doing more tuning on the street. Took the truck to the strip.....I was shocked at the 60' this truck was cutting, 1.9 with the 22" Giavonna's. How's that?? It ran through 1st and 2nd very strong but, in third it felt like i dropped anchor. I think that we ran out of mass air meter. We will be switching that now. The truck basically stop accelerating in third, no power. Result of this was a dismal 14.0 pass, the 1/8th mile yeilded 88mph. I am not kidding when I say that the truck just felt like it shut off in third, coasting is a good term to use. I will keep you guy's updated.

Thanks,

the pcm can only register so much air flow. once you get above that point the air flow keeps going up but the pcm doesn't know about it. you end up going lean.

i could see maxing it out but just barely, not enough to make it stop pulling.

you did kill the speed limiter didn't ya? on the 03's it does just feel like you hit the cruze, not like an on off limiter of the past.

got it, is there a rule of thumb as to what a certain flow rating of a maf = in the support of horsepower #'s?

yes there is

NA 11hp per 1lb of air
boosted is 10hp per 1lb of air

this is fly wheel hp and asuming a proper tune, if you have 5deg of timing you wont be close to those numbers. also your maf tables have to be stock, if you mess with the tables then the rule of thumb no longer applies.

i hit 60lb's of air at about 5200rpm
gmcski see's the 60lb max at about 4300rpm i think

once you max the maf the only way to add fuel is with the PE tables, you add fuel based only on rpm. it works but isn't very consistant. if it warms up you will be rich and if it gets cold you will be leaner.
