Default ARP crank bolt seeping oil

Installed an ARP crank bolt in wifes 5.3 a few years ago and it has had a seep leak since the day I put it back together I followed the instructions and used their thread lube per the instructions.

Do any of you have a preferred method for sealing it up that works cause following their instructions makes for an oil leak. The stock bolt has a locking compound for sealing it on the threads and on the flat against the harmonic balancer. I can kick myself in *** now after having an oil leak for the last couple years because as I was following their instructions I felt like green locktite would have been the better option if it wasn't going to leak.

I have an ARP crank bolt in my 6.0 with no issues.

I have an extra stock one around somewhere if you would like it?

Did you use their lube on the threads and the flat washer or a threadlocker/sealant.
I know it's torqued correctly I used the flywheel holding tool and my diesel torque wrench so the torque wrench was not at the edge of maxed out. Seeing as a maxed out torque wrench could give a false reading.

I appreciate the offer on the bolt I'm going to try and do cam swap next weekend and see if during disassembly I can tell exact location it's coming thru at the bolt once I pull it out. For sure it's coming out from under the bolt head washer area.

I like to go one step further and use silicone around the inside of the crank and balancer flange.

I seal the pulley to the crank and the pulley to the washer as well. The factory bolt has sealant there, so I figure why not on the ARP

Maybe I did use sealant but I’m 95% sure I just did per their instructions
