I am planning on buying these from TByrne with his 10% off, and just wanting to know what all needed to be done. I too, am planning on having them installed, I was going to have the sponser install them.
Someone mentioned having to unplug the 02's, you don't have to remove them altogether do ya?

That was the case with me. I really hesitated on getting headers. I definetly was not going the 1200 dollar route. A little hint, ask them if they have the headers in stock when you place the order. I'm having to wait for mine. Can't blame sponsor for not telling me.

Silver where are you getting them installed at if you don't mind me asking, I was thinking about buying some Asm headers and would like to know how the install goes if a shop does it for you

03 rado5.3, I got two ballpark estimates for about the same price. The first one is "The Muffler Shop" beside altman dodge on remount rd. The place is an old gas station converted to a muffler shop. They do have a good slogan "Our work is exhausting". The other is on 17-a near Moncks Corner, RC muffler shop. If you come from S'ville on 17-A, just before the split in the road at the scotsman, about 5 miles before MC, the shop is on the right.
Have not decided on which to go with. The Monck Corner shop seems more professional, but will require either Saturday visit or missing work. I work at the paper mill so the one on remount I could drop it and pick it up later and not miss work.

Lance, I will give ya a hollar when they come it. How about tuning for the headers. I have heard that the headers can cause ya to run lean. Does Allen have a pretty good grasp on how to work that out via mail tune, or of course I know it would be better to do a dyno tune with him.
