ATF Color vs Smell

Checked it the other day...looks good and pink(no laughs) but smells a little 'burnt' or at least not the same as fresh fluid. Only have 8K on it...just wondering.

A lot of the performance buffs here change regularly at 10k miles. But thats just a standard drain and fill, not a complete flush.

I've always noticed that used transmission fluid smells kinda "burnt" to me...If it was it should be brown in color.

if it is clean and you can see right through it you are good to go. all tranny fluid smells a little burnt. i get mine flushed every 10,000 miles. it can be expensive but still cheaper than a new tranny.
