Attention All DFW Chevy Trucks
Hey all you truck guys, if you haven't noticed every place in the DFW area doesn't have a LS1 edit tuner set up for trucks like they do the cars. I've got a interested buyer who would be willing to buy the program and set it up so we would have a place to go to have the edit performed. The only catch is we will need at least 15 committed buyers before they will do it. Just shoot me a e-mail or messages with you name and number and we will see what we come up with.

I just got the okay from the owner. The store is Keith Craft, which there new store is in Plano. Still we need cash up front atleast 15 people, but if we can get somewhere close we can set something up.

Re: Attention All DFW Chevy Trucks
The Hot Rod shops will have to pay for an extra license to tune our trucks. That's too bad considering that the trucks have the same computers as the f body. And guess who really ends paying for the extra license. LS1 edit is the best, hands down but Carputing is stickin' it to the truck guys.

I agree, carputing is really killing the truck guys. They have made the tuner version so darn expensive that virtually no shop will ever own it for the trucks. Its pretty easy to get a car guy to drop a few hundred bucks for tuning, but trucks are a different story. Also, so far, carputing can't get the LS1 edit system to work with the 2003+ PCM in the truck. The 03 version has been out for several months, but to use it, you need to buy an additional $125 cable, you have to pull the PCM out of the truck, hook it up to a battery with the additional cable, and tune it out of the vehicle. Then reinstall it, test it, and pull it out again to make additional changes. Quite a pain.
