Re: Auburn Diff Trucks Inside
I recommend Redline synthetic, in 75/90 or with regular oil add 80/140 oil. Make sure to use equatorque even though Redline includes some in theirs. I think the manual states every 30,000 miles, or whenever you submerge your rearend. I do mine about every 15,000 miles. It costs about $12.00 to do it with redline, so why not. Some of our rear ends have drain plugs, and some do not. Mine doesn't but my new T/A Girdle comes with a drain hole so I can still do it. If you don't have the drain plug like mine, then a new gasket is about $3.00

Re: Auburn Diff Trucks Inside
I have an Auburn unit, not sure which one. But I told the tech guy at Auburn that I wanted to hang the *** out on every turn and never have a problem. The unit they sent me was very expensive (close to $500.oo), is not rebuildable, must be exchange if worn, and I feel it wanting to grab in every turn. The rearend just shuters ever so little. But my street tires do hook up at the track beter then my friends with there Nitto 555R's. I think the unit I got was called the Auburn Gold??
Any way I love it, it was the best single perfromance mod Ive done. The nitrous would be useless with out it. With it I can spray out of the hole.
