Default Bassani Exhaust

Any guys with 5.3L trucks running Bassani mufflers?Hows it sound/performance compareable? My drive line pretty much grenaded on me the other day and smashed my Magnaflow all to hell.Insurance is floating the bill so I'm shopping around before I purchase another magnaflow.

I have their street/race series muffler on my 05 5.3. Love it. No drone but sounds damn good especially when the truck is cold in the morning. I now have lts and they make them sound even crisper.

I bought 2 bassani's but never installed them. There's a few youtube videos of a white single cab silverado that sounds good. Search "Bassani silverado"

I had to order them online since not there were not available when I was looking. I paid about 80 bux each. I hope to install them later.

On a chevy I dont know, I ran them on my lightning and it was by far the best sounding muffler for those trucks.

I talked to Bassani today and they only make a universal muffler for our trucks. And the dimensions are kindve big.The sales rep even said it'd be pretty quiet.Whats the part number on your race one 05cc?Which muffler did you have tiffo60? Mines going 3" in and out single, which ever one it is going to be.

heres a pic the lightning setup, they only sell the kit and dont show individual part numbers but the size was 4x8x16 muffler and still sounds plenty throaty especially with long tubes..

Yea the muffler that came with the rest of the catback was larger than I wanted so I ordered an additional one which was the street/race can. It's single in/single out and it was 2.5 instead of 3". I had to have the exhaust shop open the inlet up a little. I then sold the original can that came with the catback to a friend. I'll try and grab a sound clip this afternoon.

I had a 3" in 3" out bassani muffler on my truck, dont remember the dimensions, but about the size of a bullet. At idle and full throttle sounded good, but at 55mph crusing it was too loud for my taste.
