I don't see it helping what so ever. your engine is flowing fine through the stock throttle body. look into a stall.

Yea a Stall is definitly on the want list. I was just wondering if a TB is a worth while mod at the time.

nope, really if you wanted to do one when your making alot more HP you could prnbably get better results from someone who takes stock ones and bores them out and smoothes them down. jsut not worth the $$ IMO.

I've had the cable actuated BBK throttle body on an '01 4.8l for 30000 miles, and the best thing about it is that it doesn't stick closed like the factory one did. Performance gains . . . hard to say there are noticable ones, other than the cool whistling sound it makes.

well how about track times?? lol ran both the same night. stock t/b ran a .15 slower and 2mph slower as well so is it worth it? its up to you, and on a dyno it showed 10 more hp on a 3rd gear pull. later, kevin

I had just the opposite luck. My stock one never stuck and the BBK sticks about 70% of the time - even after cleaning.
