Default bearing clearances

I recently bought a 5.3 from a friend of mine that the oil pump gears broke in. He disassembled it most of the way before he figured out what caused the motor to lock down, and I'm trying to see what kind of shape the rest of the engine is in before I put it back together. So does anybody know where I might find the specs on all the sizes and related clearances for the rods/mains/cam bearings? I don't remember the specific year, will that make a difference?

Should be the same and alldata might have that info. If any bearings are spun or the crank needs machining, you are gonna need oversize bearings

right side in the front of the block at the water pump area has a date code cast into it. will be a letter followed by 3 numbers like A071 for Jan 07 of 2001. Specs should be the same. The only thing that changed was the Head bolt depth into the block. 99-03 and 04-up. I think 06 or 07 was the first year for the VVT option wich is based on the LS2 design.

Cool, thanks for the info guys.
No bearings spun, the guy was driving around and shut it down, came back out to crank it up and it was locked down. All the bearings still have oil on them.
