Arrow Beat this exhaust BS for me again, here we go exhaust

Ok headers are on the way guys. Now the time has come to go with exhaust.. MY PLANS, please give me your thoughts on if this is a over kill for piping sizes.. My plan is to run/make the y pipe set up.. 3 inch pipes from the collectors, into a merger, from the merge out a single 4 inch exhaust... Headers are 1 3/4 primes.. So am I over killing it by going into the 4 inch single pipe. Should I only run a 3 or 3.5 out the back of the merge to retain back pressure, or let it eat, with my current idea?? I know the damn thing felt great with open headers.. So GIMMIE YOUR THOUGHTS ON it..

I would do a 3" all the way back from the header collector, that is what I would run.

if it ran good on open headers id do the 4" that your talking about.. youve got a blown 6.0 so i dont think hp losses are much of an issue. plus that thing needs to breathe up top.

i know you are used to dealing with big pipes buddy

i would go with at least 4" if you are going single. my old man has a 289 with dual 3" without any problems.
