The very best is a custom tune on your computer. It only cost a little more than a hypertech and in my opinion will give you a lot more power. Especially if you do more serious mods like headers or cam. I use Allen from nelsonperformance.com, he has great customer service and can tune a computer and send it to you, and you just send him your core back. My brother also just bought a custom tune for his 4.8 truck from Allen and is very happy with it. It now breaks the tires loose on command.

Nelson, He will get you going. He has great service and a quality tune. His may be alittle more than the rest, but you get what you pay for. He does free updates, so if you decide on more mods you can get the tune updated for free.

But back to topic, I would also go with a Wait4Me tune he's a little cheaper than Allen but about the same quality and customer service. Both good tunes maybe someone with a W4M can tell you more..........

I've the got W4Me in my 5-speed and i love it, but i think i read in another post that ur a peg leg, just gonna tell you not to waste any more of your money on any kind of performance stuff until you get a locker, when i first bought my truck, it would lay a 20 ft black mark when i grabbed 2nd, now with the mods i have, it leaves over a 500ft black mark in 3rd on juice and spins all the way through 2nd on motor...get a locker or LSD before you do anything.
