Best header??
i know its been discussed but here goes.
I have an 03 2500 HD 6.0, 4x4 ex cab short bed. i have a cold air kit and duals.
im looking for a header to bolt right up to the stock cat pipes.
who makes the best overall power wise, install easy quality ect.
once the headers go in i will be tunning it with HP tuners.
also with a good tune and headers i should be able to expect 10-15 rwhp correct?
thanks guys

They say shorties are good for like 5hp, but if you go with longtubes, they are good for like 15-25 hp. You can try the ASM, thorley, or supermaxx systems for a 4x4 truck. Should not be that hard to install. Just a little harder cause most haave to go in from under the truck.

Most people that are running shorties are using Edelbrock and are seeing about 6-10 rwhp gains. They are an inexpensive header, less than $300 for ceramic coated, if I remember correctly.
JBA offers a higher quality header (Cat4ward) and is promising a little more of a gain, but their price is over 2x the Edelbrock price. It is hard to get hard info out of JBA, but I think the gains would be in the range of 10-15 rwhp. There are a couple of guys at silveradoss.com that are running these headers and may be of more help.

whats the best long tube then? for 5 hp its not even worth the swap.
i have a lift, and work on my camaro on my own, so im guessing headers on the truck will be easy in comparison to the car.
