best headers/ bang for a buck
im looking at upgrading my 5.3 exhaust. right now i have jba shortys stock cats and y pipe with a cheap glass pack muffler. how is it worth it to do a hole swap or just take the headers and run whith them.
or
which would be the best bang for my bucks pacesetters or hookers or if theres any brands ive missed that are a good dollar, and if ceramic coated is worth it. any help would be sweet

You definitely want to get some type of coating on them. Either their ceramic coating or have a shop professionally powdercoat them. I’ve heard their ceramic coating isn’t bad but you might get cheaper and better results somewhere else.

Coated All The Way!!!
^^^^
Dont make the mistake that I did and buy no-coated ones b/c you thought you would save some money. I am now sending mine to get coated! I have about 100 bucks more wrapped up in my heads doing it that way then just spending the extra money and getting coated ones...

I used to do ceramic coating and it is well worth. First it is a heat barrier that keeps the heat in the headers and passes it out the exhaust reducing heat under the hood. Second it does not turn blue like chrome or stainless and as long as you polish them once a year at least with polish for ceramic then they will never rust! It is definitely worth it!!
