If your not after better ET's but more performance dont neglect an E-fan. It will improve your gas mileage and make tons of room in front of your motor for a ghetto fab intake.

I havn't done mine yet so no pics here.

The one my buddy did was so simple it made me sick. He just mounted the MAF to the TB with a silicon/rubber style coupler. From the MAF he used another coupler and a PVC pipe with a 90deg bend which was glued to a straight piece pf PVC which hung down towards the ground in front of the motor. A good K&N filter completed the piece. It looks like a damn snorkle but it worked! That guys was trapping about 98-100mph with a 6.0L HD truck. He had all the bolt-ons and a healthy cam.

Some PVC tubing or if you have a tubing bender you can easily makre your won intake. I became a firm beliver when I bought all the high dollar parts for my truck and my buddy ghetto fabed all his parts and he spanked me every time we raced.
Ok sure ive done this on other cars. any pics? TIA siggy

I'd get a Yank TT3000 in the GP (prob. around $650 - $700) and a USED Hypertech HPPIII for $150 either here or Ebay. $800-$850 = -8 to 9 tenths in the quarter. Or, you could try one of the TCI sf3000 converters for $400, the used HPPIII for $150, a free flowing muffler for about $100 installed, and still have $150 left for air intake parts and whatnot.
