I have the borla cat back.... was way tooo quiet.. so I took the pipes after the muffler off and made dumps after the muffler..

I keep on hearing about the Xr1 but cannot find out where to get the muffler...

I've always been partial to the walker super turbos, I think dynomax markets them now. But I'm going to give this hog of a 4" cat-back magnaflow a shot and see how I like it.
But from personal experience, can't go wrong with the super turbos!

I'm running dual Edelbrock RPM series mufflers and I'm really happy with them too. It's got a nice subtle rumble at idle and low revs but bring them to 3000 grand and they've got a very throaty sound that isn't raspy at all.

Im gonna cast my vote for magnaflow. Awsome flow similar to the dynomax ultraflow but the house is stainless and the internal packing is spun from lavarock as opposed to fiberglass which means it last much longer in the sevier(sp?) heat

I got my bullet for $35.

If you want quiet, go magnaflow, you gotta love those straight pipes, I got alot of vibrations with my old one though, but thats probably because I got the smallest case I could get and had it dumped right after the muff.

For myself I am still trying to decide what muffler to get part of me wants to get a magnaflow and part of me wants to try something that will be a little bit louder like an Edelbrock RPM series mufflers. But I guess that I could get a smaller magnaflow muffler that would give me a little more sound I just don’t want a lot of resonance in the cab

I think his main concern was with PERFORMANCE but not to loud!
