Best place for PP throttle body?

I dont consider 5-8hp a noticeable improvement, most TB port jobs end up creating tuning issues down the road.

Anyway, yes, I agree that porting the stock TB shows improvement. The response is quicker and it's all around "snappier"

And I have NO CLUE where the "makes it harder to tune" comes from.

It is a definite noticeable difference all over the board. Back in the day there are noted dyno gains at the wheels up to 10hp from just a ported throttle body. The only thing pointless is knife edging in my opinion. If you don't get it just right then it won't seal and causes issues. Anytime you can smooth airflow and pick up velocity it will help. Especially in an ls motor that needs all the air it can get.

Because some port them too close to the blade, trust me there have been many issues with this in the past.

Vmaxx also sells ported tbs I paid 150 for mine you leave a 200 deposit when they get your tb they give back your deposit. I think New Era charges less bit you have to send your tb for porting New Era does great work
