I know it's not glamerous but a lot of people have been asking what a stock 5.3L RCSB can do and I see way to many responses with high 15s as an answer. I though I'd post up my results to add weight to those who have been saying low 15s. Hehehe

You're right though, that's a good time. A guy with a brand new "Hemi" 4x4 RCSB was running 16.4's at Firebird. That would still put him at 16.2's or so at a better track.

The VHOs have a lot more AVERAGE HP and TQ. I doubt they are over 100rwhp higher than a 5.3L but that average HP can make for a lot faster truck. That's why i always preach on the potential of the HD 6.0L trucks. I been smoked too many times by one to not see it's potential. Hahaha
There was a 5.3L truck with 3.73s and G80 that looked just like mine. He had a K&N FIPK and a muffler and he was running 15.25@89-90mph. He had all the stock weight items like the spare and stock 16" aluminum wheels.

I was pretty impressed when mine put down 280awhp with nothing but a ChokeMaster exhaust. Not bad for a "325hp" motor!
