Default best tires for traction and everyday use

Hi I was wondering what is the best tire for traction and also for an everyday use truck. I have some NITTO tires right now but my truck is x-cab with 4.11 gears and all the goodies, and the NITTO's do not stick at all. So what do you recommend?
oh i am installing some cal-tracs but i doubt that would take care of the problem.
thanks.

Weclome to our nightmare. I think that is an issue we all face. I think you are going to be hard pressed to find a radial that will hook all that great. I have 285/50/18 yoko avs/st and turn them over pretty good from a dig even before the converter. Although I have heard raves about the Toyo Proxies. BTW.. I had a set of 404 before the yokos and they seemed to hook just as well although they were about 1.5" taller.
