Best way to eliminate exhaust Drone?
I have a 6.0L with block hugger headers, 2 1/2" into single 3" with no cats and a Hooker Aerochamber exiting behind the passenger tire on my 'Burb right now. The new Aerochamber got rid of the raspy/popping sound but now it drones pretty bad inside on the freeway. I tried searching but found mostley opinions on muffler choice to eliminate drone. The aerochamber seemed to have pretty good reviews so I tried it. Love the sound, just not the drone. What's the best thing to add to reduce it? I was thinking either a "Bullet" or a single cat before the muffler. Does it matter much if it's before or after the muffler? I'm trying to get this thing as quiet as I can. Thanks for the help.
