Guys went to the track last night with my newly installed 4.10's and pcm tune, whats the best way to hook up with 2 wd, i spun the **** outta my tires, there street tires and they were smoking. What can I do????

 

let some air out.pedal it a lil

when you feel the tires break loose let off the gas a lil.feel it out. know

 

stickier tires and some sort of traction bar that stops wheel hop

 

it wasnt wheel hop, they were burning, i mean smoking

 

Slicks or drag radials!

 

what is the best tire for hooking??? ET streets, et drags, slicks??? what size 26" or 28"

Sticky tires, traction bars, and pedal it if you have too. With a stall you're going to spin even worse so start saving for traction stuff now....

This is why some of the guys by 4X4s for the drag strip. The extra weight slows us down some but don't try racing us from light to light on the street for we are always ready.

 

I little throttle discression on launch help too. WOT is not always the best launch.
