I think your having issues with your truck, I got a 2500HD with the 6.0 and 4.10s and I get around the same on the highway, and my beast tips the scales at 6250, before the toolbox and 500+ pounds of stuff in it.

Edit: Oh and I dont drive like no old lady.

Not true in some cases. Especially if your fuel has ethonal(SP?) in it like mine does.

I actually lost mileage. Instead of going 400-430 on one tank, after two tank fulls of acetone, about 1-2 oz per 10 gallons, I dropped to 380miles per tank.

After going back to plain 87 octane, I'm back to normal.

I think you guys are calculating this on MPG reset on a down hill decent!
26 MPG in a 3/4 ton 6.0L with 4.10 gears driving agressive and with speeds above 70MPH........... I don't think so.

Me too. I am definately happy with 23 mpg. Thats what I avg'd from here to Texas in Aug. I was at 20 on the way back, but that was pulling my polaris 750 behind it. I think I am going to stay with 3.42's. I just hope putting 285/70-17's doesnt kill my power to much. I have been pretty consistent if I drive mostly hwy (avg 20mi/day).
