Default beware of the G80!

Toward the end of last season my rear end started making some weird noises (the trucks rear end, not mine) and sometimes wouldn't spin both in the burnout box. I have already been pretty hard on it this year and it has been hooking for about 20 feet then it unlocks and the right tire goes up in smoke. After going to the track Tuesday expecting to bring home a 12 second slip but instead running worse than I ever have, I decided that it is Eaton time. I had a hard time getting the cross pin out-it had some pretty bad galding and the magnet inside the cover had a lot of metal on it. Right now I have every thing cleaned, scraped and ready for reassembly-just waiting on the parts. They are 'posed to be here today so I might make it to the track tonight for some testing. If I can't hook on the stock tires then next week it will have some slicks on it.

The Eaton is in and now I am eatin' both back tires!! It is WAY tighter that that stock POS. When turning in grass or gravel you can feel it staying locked. Can't wait to get some new track times. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
