Default Big enough injectors?

I found a deal on Gm 28.8# injectors for 50 shipped. I was told before that my truck has the 19# ones stock, and with plans shortly of having spray I don't want to risk leaning out. Are these worth the money to buy? also would I need an instant retune for them, or could I wait a little bit? Thanks.

those sound like the LS1 injectors I think.
Look around for some 8.1's they are plug and play and you can get them fairly cheap just my .02 cents tho

I'm planning a 150 shot within the next few months along with worked heads, I'll look for some 8.1 marines then since those are 42#...thanks guys.

I will say the 8.1's are to be had pretty cheap, and the 8.1 marine's are fair priced as well. I know the truck 8.1's are a 30#+ and the marine's are 42#. with your set up and a 150 shot I may consider the marine injectors, but I am sure the 8.1 truck injectors will do as well.

Why not just run a wet shot?
