Default Big Victor on N/A setup.

Looking at intake setups for my next build. It will be a GEN IV headed 366ci motor with 1-7/8 headers minimum. Big converter, big cam, big gear etc. And for my plans, a 90mm TB just won't cut it for my plans...

I know there's been mixed feelings on the Vic Jr in the past with n/a setups in general and I'm not sold on the flo-pro setup either. I'm mainly asking about the big Victor intake since I haven't heard a lot about them yet. If I could go this route I could do the fuel system one of two ways. One being conventional rails/injectors -or- FAST has a mini-rail/4bbl TB setup with 4 injectors, the fuel tuning is done by a seperate box, not by the PCM. I just don't know if this would deliver the amount of fuel I'll be needing. And, I know there's reasons they got away from the TBI/poppet style stuff.

Anyway, just looking to hear if anyones messed with this thing. Dyno graphs would be great. I haven't had much luck finding any.

Not sure about the big vic intake but my buddy has a 5.7 with mid size cam and victor jr intake and it puts down 406whp and runs 12.5s n/a.

It'll be going in the RCSS truck in my signature.

I have been kicking around the carb idea too... I haven't turned screws in a while though I'm sure I could tune it though after some getting back into it.

The only thing to consider is Ill have to drive this thing, the advantage to the injection is more driveability and easier to tune for half-*** mileage. That's not a main concern or factor of the decision though in the least.

And the heads will be either L92's, LS3's, or LS7's... Either way, GEN IV stuff.
