Thanks parish.
The first pic shows the old ATI intercooler bracket. I just turned it upside down and took some bend out of it to make a 45 degree angle instead of a 90 degree. It now cradles the back/bottom of the new intercooler.
The second pic shows a good size comparison between the old and new intercoolers.

All I did was swap a 90 degree elbow from the drivers side to the passengers side. And turned the steel bends on both ends. Where the steel tubes were for the old intercooler matched up perfectly to the new one. I used the old back bracket you see in the pic. Just turned it upside down and tweaked some bend out of it.
I used a long plastic tie wrap they use for ductwork to go all the way around the cooler and the front frame piece to cinch the cooler in tight against the bracket. The top side fits up under the airdam perfectly. I used thick foam pipe insulation (the kind that insulates copper pipes) in between the cooler and bracket/framerail.

NIce,,, Does the cooler hang down below the bumper very much? The pic is a little deceiving... If the gains stay that large for you, I consider mine ordered! Great Job! Can you feel the difference on the top end?

I just measured, 14 inches to the bottom of the airdam, and 10 inches to the bottom/backside of the intercooler. It really doesn't hang down much more than that rubber air deflector ATI gives you.
Did some logging today and hit 57 lb/min! In cooler fall weather I'm pretty sure I'll max the maf. The most I would ever see was 54 lb/min with the old cooler and that was the middle of winter!
I'd definately recommend this mod for ATI guys. going from a 4" to 3.6" pulley only got me about 6 lb/min more flow. That minus the extra power to drive the charger. This got me 11+ lb/min more, with no drive power lost.
Top end feels ALOT stronger now and I'm still way rich and running 14 degrees of timing(lowered it just in case while I tested the new cooler)

send me the link to purchase that thing bud. Also, where did you get those blue turbo connectors? Did they come with the cooler? I get to go home from Boston in a week... I can't wait to drive my truck again. I ordered one of the vortec air intake kits for the 2004 ss. I'm gonna see if I can't adapt it to get into the charger....
Congrats on the install!! That is an amazing gain... guess it says something about the stock ATI setup.
