Congrats on the install!! That is an amazing gain... guess it says something about the stock ATI setup.

Just E-mail Tom at ls1speed and tell him you want-- CS-000AE-1
Mine took about 6 weeks to get, and cost around $600 after shipping.
I had a length of 3"ID silicone laying around the garage that I got at a local hose supply store.
I hope you can make that Vortech intake work. That will be sweet! How much did they charge you?

Great results! I have a D-max IC if anyone wants me to take pics to see it or compare it to an intake or I can compare it to my truck. Also, if anyone wants it, they can have it cheap. I won't be putting my bigger turbo on until next summer and won't need an IC until then.

The lb/min are what you should really be looking at. My boost barely went up 1 psi with the new cooler, but my lb/min went up by like 11. The charge is so much cooler and more dense, that the airflow goes up a ton but boost doesn't change that much.

the intake i made was totally useless it seemed like a good concept but i gained almost 2lb/min by taking it off to my current setup im working on relocating my battery but right now the best thing to do is throw a pvc 45 degree on the end of the rubber 45 off the blower to get the filter off the headers my iats barely went up but i flowed a lot more air......seth from cmotorsports put it best......"you can blow through a straw in pretty much any position its bent but you cant suck through it"........ anything more than 11 degrees on the intake side becomes a restriction....so the shorter and less harsh the angle the better.

02: Not sure where the mass air is in relation to the intercooler but the iat is in the mass air. if its seeing the cooler air from the intercooler swap it may be richening the a:f. the truck probably never spent that much time at that iat temp and was tuned a little rich there. just a theory.
