Oh, running it to 7300 it was still pulling too. I just got scared. LOL Still pushing the stock valve springs. hehehe

i think he meant the LPE GT1-1 229/242 .631/.631 bieng 13* split.

Yes, that's a little much split for me. I think about half that would be a little more reasonable for my application.

That's really pushing the stock springs. That's pushing everything in fact. How often do you spin it up that high?

I see an aftermarket tach is gonna be necessary.

I spin it that high everytime I drive it. It just sounds too good to not hammer it.

I have nice big springs in my garage, just havent put them on yet. With 4k worth of stall shifting close to 7k my stock tach rarely moves off of 6k. Right at the shifts it drops to about 5300, but quickly pegs back to 6 and stays there.

Also, i still get 19.6mpg on the highway at 70-75.

i dono if u have already said this or not but what are your N\A times? and damn i would never have the ***** to push my motor to 7000+ on a daily basis...

I get about 125 miles on a full 24.5 gallons in town with the stall and alot of playing. So a whopping 5 mpg.
