Default biggest cam with Z06 springs???

wuts up guys!! i was wondering, what is the biggest cam i can put on my truck since i'm currently running with Z06 springs because the previous owner left them on wen he had a cam on it...he had the tr220/220, .551/.551, 112LSA...i want to put the exact same cam back on but I was just curious if i should keep them or go with the 918 springs. would i see any difference in cam performance with those springs???....thanks guys!!!

If you go with a .570 lift cam there will be no performance difference between the Z06 springs and the 918 springs. Unless you're planning on revving it above 7,000 RPM, I would just use what you've got. If you are revving it higher, then I would go with 918's or better just for the added control at the extra high RPM.

you might be fine with the zo6 valve springs.
i'd say stay under 6500 with them and you should be good.

it's your choice but i would go the 918's route just to have that extra insurance.
you never know when or if you'll hit the fuel shut off at say 6800.

I would use the Z06 springs.

Correct me if Im wrong, but you wont have to baby the z06s like you do the 918 before they are warmed up. Thats a pain in the ***. I bet the z06s are quieter too.
