Billet Servo install ?
I'm going to be installing a billet servo kit from KDS Performance next weekend, and have read the instructions from the kit, plus I have the GM service manual for my truck.
The serivce maunal says I need a special servo cover depressor tool to remove the old servo. Do you really need it and where can I get one? And how much does it cost?
Thanks

Remove the Y-pipe. I use an old lawnmower blade when I'm at my house doing it, or a crow bar when I have one readibly available. Just as long as you have means of prying on the little nipple of the cover, and can still get a screwdriver up there, you will be fine.

I did mine TWICE! last weekend with just a large screwdriver and a pick to get the snap ring out. (I folded up the 4th piston scarf ring the first time, so no 4th! Had to go back in and fix that, so now it works.) Youre gonna like it!
