Black Tips?

Default Black Tips?

I want to put black tips on my exhaust (dads paying due to hate of my cut off muffler lol) everywhere i see they are always chrome, is there anywhere i could get them raw and paint them? or buy them black? let me know

i though it would look sick, no one has it...

I thin RBP sells black tips. But you could also try and get hi-temp paint for headers, grills and what not,try that.

i had chrome tips on my old ford truck and they got rusty, a buddy of mine blasted and powdercoated them black for a case of beer, the powdercoat is pretty tough and it looked pretty sweet.

I think RBP (Rolling Big Power) only does diesel applications, so you would need a 3.5" or bigger pipe to bolt the tip to. But the matte black hi-temp paint mentioned above could look pretty slick. Post up pics with whatever you decide.

Just buy the Brake Caliper or Engine Component paint - should be rated for at least 250 or 300 degrees Celcius (iirc... might've been Farenheit, though). Either way, it should easily handle the exhaust temps at your tips, and you can do it yourself. Just pay something like $5 or $6 at Autozone or whatever for a can of it, paint that, and you'll have leftover for if you ever decide to paint something else black.

I had some that were Ractive and they were Black Chrome on a Tahoe I bought. I left them on all of about 1 week. I think because I couldn't get by to take them off. I am not a fan of tips, but check out Ractive they sell ALOT of tips.
