It's Comp Cam's word vs LP's. I spoke to several places and they all seem to think that the specs of 121 LSA was to high and would make it idle like a ricer. The minute I heard that the decision to go with the 212/218 was a lot easier.

My new setup uses a 228/234,115+5,.588/.598.I'm also running 1.75 Comp rockerarms,so the lift is a little higher.

Comp Cam's does grind the Cams for LP so maybe they know something.

Yes,it's running now with about 50 miles on the engine and transmission,as soon as I do some tuning and rack up 1000 miles or so I'll put it on the dyno.

The tech help I spoke to at Comp Cam knew of the LP Cam but still recommended the 212-218.
