Which blower VORTECH OR ATI
#2
Both can make great power but IMO you are going to need a big stall converter to take advantage of the upper end power a centrifugal makes otherwise it's gonna equal teh suck!
I'm sure our resident ATI guru (Black Blown 02) will be in here shortly to give you an hoest opinion. He makes great power but it took some planning.
You might be better looking into a Radix style with big boost or maybe a turbo kit like Cmotorsports.com or STSturbo.com.
I just think lower end boost is where it's at for truck. If you want a drag racing truck then the turbo or ATI would be my choice.

Now on a centrifugal i think the min. stall on our trucks should be a 3500-3800 stall. At 2900 your shift extention may be too low and when you shift you will drop much boost and waste time getting enough rpm built back up to get into the meat of the powerband again.
A 2900stall would work excellent on a Radix or turbo setup though. I runa 3000 stall and I think Parish runs a 2800stall.
If you are dead set on the centrifugal styles I would ante up for a new converter in the 2500-3800 range and you'll be golden. Both kits are proven and make great power up top. I had a Vortech S-Tim on my Mustang and it made 538rwhp on a 351w on 7psi.

well this is what I want

If you can find some supercharger and turbo dyno graphs take a look and compare how the power comes on. The roots style blowers and turbos come on very fast and in some cases can hold that high boost till max RPM which will equal better 1/4mile times and much more fun on the street.

I dont really want to change my stall but if i have to I will i want as much power as possible. Like I looked at STS turbo im not spending 4 grand to get almost same results, i made 340 torque and 310 rwhp the sts wasnt much more Ill go turbo I dont care I just want to go fast in a truck. Im open to anything I want to make mid 4 range in torque and hp so Ill do what it takes to get me their.
Thanks for your help.

I would wait for Cmotorsports to come out with thier turbo kit before I would do a supercharger. Don't get me wrong, a supercharger is a nice way to go but I think turbo's are more efficent at putting out bigger HP and Tq numbers.
