Default Boost with egr block off

I was wondering what y'all who are boosted with no maf, have put your ait sensor. What did you do to keep it from leaking under boost. I'm thinking about putting a sensor where the egr used to be. I currently have an expandable plug in there now.

Mine is relocated to the lower manifold of the Kenne Bell (which doesn't help you I know). I think your idea is a good location. Another option if you are using a metal intake tube is to have a bung welded into the tube and use a threaded IAT sensor. I would recommend the same for teh EGR location or either epoxy it into the block off plate.

I got the new sensor in today from napa part# ts4026, which is the equivalent to the ac delco# 213-243 or GM# 12160244. I also picked up a 1 3/8 freeze plug. I tried the plug and its a hair too small to which I read that black rtv silicone will seal it up. But I don't think it'll hold up to #10 of boost. That and I was going to drill a hole and mount the sensor in the freeze plug with a grommet as its not a screw in type, but with the boost i'm not sure the grommet will seal it up either. Any suggestions?
