Borla S-type....
Ok, I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I like the high pitched sounds it makes when combined with an X-pipe on a Corvette.
That being said, does anyone with a TRUCK on here run the stingers/heard someone with them? I was contemplating repacing the factory muffler with one of those screamers and wanted some input beforehand. Thanks in advance!

Here's Matt's profile page: https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...ber.php?u=5449 He's got some good videos of the truck running hard... exhaust sounds pretty good. Real nice guy, he can probably give you some advice if you need it.

Thanks for the point in that direction. I checked out Tootall's vids, they sound rowdy!
However, I don't think that is the muffler I'm looking for. He(Tootall) has an XR-1. I'm looking for the S-Type(the Corvette Stinger muffler).
Here's a link to Borla's website for what I'm talking about...
http://www.borla.com/products/product_multi_detail.aspx?cat=2&type=88&desc=Unive rsal+Mufflers%2c+Tubing+%26+Hardware|S-Type
It's actually a 2.5" inlet/outlet, so it is smaller than any of the XR-1 cans.
Kinda off topic, but I was also looking at the Powerstick chambered mufflers too. Any opinions on those?

I have a 3in Borla Pro XS muffler I got off ebay new for $60, and it welded right up to the stock exhaust (with a section of pipe to make up for the length difference). It's really quiet unless you get in the throttle. Since the stock piping is 2 3/4", you would probably be better off going bigger rather than smaller diameter.
