Default Brake Lines

Another noob question...what's up with the stock brake lines that some people are switching to stainless?

Earl's hyperfirm 5-line kit is what a lot are switching out to. Much better brake pedal feel.

Thanks...I noticed my pedal feel is a little soft and effort required high at times/situations. A F-150 pulled-out across me a few weeks ago...it actually locked-up and put down some black in my panic stop...good thing there were two lanes in my direction.
