Default Which brand gears to get? TA Girdle?

I just got a Eaton posi and am looking to get some 3.90 gears.

Which brands are you guys running? Are any quieter than others or what are most people using? Where did you guys buy them from?
Ive heard the Yukon gears are stronger than most. Anyone running them?

Also as far as rebuild kits for the rear, should I be looking for anything special or specific? How would something like this be: Ebay Link

And also the TA girdle. I think there is also a stud kit you can get to increase strength. Anyone know anything about that?

I have some Motive gears on my 4.8 and are quaet as a cat. Looks like that is a complete kit except for the marking compound to make sure you get a good contact patter. It's no biggie since most shops will have it.

I have the TA girdle and love it. Just installed it a week ago. Had to go to Home Depot to get the hardware since the newer rears use metric cover bolts. Nice thing was it came with a note and told you that first, so you don't find out when you have it pulled apart. They do make a stud kit also. Very friendly and helpful on the phone too...plus, this thing looks tough. I relocated my spare to the bed just to be able to see it.

Yea, I got the TA girdle with the ARP stud/bolt kit for the main caps on the posi unit.

Works good.

I used Richmond gears in my truck. I have always used them in my Nova and never had any problems and it runs 10.20's in 1/4 @128mph.

I use strange.....Richmond's tend to be tricky when setting up, which can cause some noise.

FMS just sent me some Moser 3.90 gears. According to Allen, they're some of the best.

Their website is www.futralmotorsports.com, but you won't find anything on it yet. Give them a call 1-877-78-43278. They're a sponser as well ---->
The gears were $203 shipped. Hope this helps!
