Default Bro installed Quadzilla in '03 Duramax

The one he got has a 50hp, 70hp, 90hp, and 110hp program. I drove it around on the 90hp program and it definitely has a lot more get up and go. The speedometer climbs eerily fast for a 6500lb truck with big wheels/tires and a 4 inch lift in an extended cab 4x4 Duramax 2500HD. It's crazy. He has a muffler delete and the Quadzilla. His truck is LOUD, it seriously sound like a jet on full afterburner when it's at full throttle.

Based on quite a bit of experience with fast cars, I'd say it's running mid 14's or so in the low 90's in the 1/4 mile based on what sort of acceleration I felt.

I'm impressed with the ability to unleash the power in those Duramaxes and turbo diesels in general.

My buddy has an 03 2500 ecsb 4x4 Dmax. He is stacking two chips, one is an edge juice not sure of the other one. He also has intake and exhaust. Last weekend he ran a 13.66 in the 1/4. I no longer mess with him about buying a big *** diesel.

I have exhaust and a 125 hp edge juice on my truck and I ran 14.3 at 92 mph in the 1/4.

Wow, nice times. I'm figuring he's running mid to high 14's on the 90hp setting. That's pretty cool times for a big truck. My 5.3L truck seems kind of weak by comparison now.

Those times for those bolt-ons are just WRONG! (I'm jealous!)

I don't think any other vehicle out there could give more of a b**** slap to anyone's ego, than a full sized diesel truck could.

At least with 'other' vehicles, it could be anticipated.

Hey Slowverado, long time no talk! Based on your sig, you're not too slow anymore. Hell, your truck is faster than my Vette. Wait, maybe I misread your thread, you have a Z28 now? Well, it's faster than my Vette.

Yeah, my brother went by the shop to get his Quadzilla, he bought it through a guy on Ebay and went directly over and had them hook it up. It's a pretty neat deal to say the least. I now want to trade my '04 5.3L in for a Duramax, but it would cost too much.
