Broke Crank Bolt

I’ve seen it before when someone used an ARP bolt that was too long, allowing it to bottom out in the bolt hole, basically friction welding itself into the bottom of the bolt-hole. It too broke when trying to remove it, causing the need to replace the crank. The individual wouldn’t have likely even known, had the balancer been pulled all the way down, but it wasn’t and he was throwing belts faster than he could put them on.
