For 3 grand I'd keep the factory camshaft. You're not gonna see much of a difference, not three grand worth with your needs IMO. If you were doing it for just parts cost I'd say "maybe". I've swapped three cams in two years with the same engine. The second swap cam specs were close to the first except for a lower LSA. It produced a little more bottom end but after reflecting... I'd rather have the $500 parts and the labor hours back from leaning over the fenders all day lol. Third cam was a must after installing aftermarket heads.

I have a 212/218 112LSA Low Lift, in a 6.0 and I am very happy with it. It has great manners at all RPMs

I dunno , I'm not a scientist but I think this is next to a direct replacement.
All you are going to see is a slight bit bottom torque I doubt even noticeable. The 111 LSA is where that little gain comes from. The overlap goes from -30.5 degrees stock to -20 degrees which should be easy to tune... meh I'd keep the money in my pocket or chose a different camshaft. You're probably looking at $200 per horsepower gain with that tiny camshaft which is insane money lol. You pay horsepower prices like that when you've gotten all the cheaper horsepower out first. You are almost in supercharger kinda money at 3K.

Redxray brings up a good point about cost. Unless you already need to go into the engine for another reason (timing chain. bad lifter, whatever) your best bang for buck would be headers and a free-flowing muffler (which will only compliment a camshaft if you went that way later on). The right long tubes will increase the entire power range and improve part throttle efficiency as well. Like a mild camshaft, it can actually improve fuel economy when not driving aggressively. This way, you can tell the wife you're saving money. :-)

At $1k min. for a basic tune, you'd be better off buying HPTuners and a wideband, doing a datalog and send it to PCM of NC to send you a tune. Same cost or a little cheaper and save a on a money if you make further changes. Or better yet, play with it after they give you a base tune and learn how to do it yourself.
