Not much... Spins all the accessories 25% slower to free up a little power.

Thanks man! Took a lot of work(and money, lol) to get it to run those times.

best I have seen was a guess at 12-14 city and 16-18 hwy. That is having a very very light foot. I have seen it as bad as 8 in the city.

4.56 gears is a good ratio for 35 inch tires. I run 4.88 which is pretty steep on the highway and my truck drinks lots of gas because of it. It might help to know what your definition of fast is then work your ideas from there.

Big truck+big tires+power I would sure hope you would do an 80e. The 60e was never engineered to take on the added weight, power or rolling resistance added to these trucks. A fully built 60e should be reserved for lighter vehicles.

I agree with this. 4L60's barely last behind a stock 6.0 as is, even if it is built it won't hold to the weight and power. Too much stress. I would definitely go with a built 4L80. Anyone here know how to beef up the transfer case internals? Or is it even necessary?

Stock transfer case is good as is. If you have high miles or its leaking, you can crack it open, inspect everything, install a pump rub plate, replace the chain if you want, and slap it back together.

Atomic and Stock48 push A LOT of power through their transfer cases and hold up very well.

Yeah I have 190,000 on my transfer case so once I start collecting my parts and building I'll tear it apart and make sure everything's in good shape
