I had a similar problem with my girlfriends 04 GMC Sierra. I just noticed it once this past weekend. It kinda smelled like oil burning, but there were no leaks, no oil pressure drop. Nothing. I checked the oil and everything seemed ok. But her truck is idling a little rough. But then again mine does that too. Of course mines a lot more modded than hers too.
