go to your shift tables and change the shift points if you want to notice a difference in it. raise your downshift points just a little too. make sure you do it in the table and not the first window! do you have a scanner?

Texas-The displacement function is under the fuel section and you tell it individual cylinder displacement. I think that helps the pcm calculate the fuel requirements better. I raised the idle because when I went from the 5.3 to the 6.0 it started idling about 100 rpm lower. Sometimes it will stall if you "goose" it in gear then let off. This hasn't happened (yet) since raising the idle. The cam is stock 6.0 liter. I will look at the shift tables but I think Superchips already turned that up.

Even though I zeroed all the tq mgt tables I am still getting timing loss at the hit of the throttle. I can brake torque it in the shop and watch the timing go down to 0 or even less. What else do I need to change to cure this?

Have you taken out "abuse mode"? Set it equal to a value that will never be true like rpm > 6200 and speed < 0. Also have you set you max torque value?

Bigkid-Where is the abuse mode you are talking about? I set the torque limit to 1000 like I read somewhere but just yesterday I received an e-mail from the ls1 edit mailing list that instructed not to raise it past 639. So I changed that back and altered the timing table but I didn't get to drive it yet cause of rain.

Abuse Mode Test is under Engine Cal >> Ignition and is in a little box in the lower right corner.

BTW.. this place has some good info and a nice glossary of terms: http://ls1edit.slowcar.net/links.html
