You might check over on ls1tech. I think you have to change the knock sensors, cam covers, and a few other things, but other than that I think it's the same process as swapping in a Gen III.

If you are buying an LS2 crate... you need to find out if GM is now installing the new corporate 58x reluctor wheel on the crank and 4x trigger sprocket on the cam. If not, it will be a simple swap. If they are then plan on spending at least a couple hundred in tear down and reassembly labor (not including parts) to swap in a 24x reluctor wheel and an older 1x trigger LS2 cam sprocket.
Lets assume the LS2 crate motor does not require teardown...
You will need:
1) Pan, oil pickup tube (new oring), windage tray, and dip stick tube/stick assembly tray from the truck motor you are pulling
2) Drill / tap sides of LS2 block where LS2 knock sensors go for GENIII knock sensors (remove the ones from the truck and reinstall on sides of LS2 motor)
3) Knock sensor extension harness
4) Cam sensor adaptor/extension harness
Before I go any further... what intake manifold do you plan on using?
