I think my factory air box may be holding me back Is there any signifigant gains using a K&N, AEM, MAC, AIRAID or something similar as opposed to the e-bay intske and stock tube. If so what intake is everyone happy with?

I just have the stock tube with an ebay box, and no dyno numbers, but I have driven it, and a few of my friends have drivem it before and after and they all noticed a difference!! That, and I knock down about 1-2 more mpg on the highway now..

+1 for the ebay box!!

i was thinking the same thing about my stock box after the pacesetter install dyno numbers didn't show any improvement over manifolds. i put the k&n 77 series cai back on which definately shows more air coming in according to the MAF, but now i'm trying to tune out the sporadic KR i'm getting. don't know if it's related to the hot weather, but it's driving me nuts.

Another vote for the Airaid. Had the K&N before, too much in-cab drone at WOT
