I never raised the shift points becuase my tranny is already slipping a little. It is really amazing the thing has made it this long. 110,000 miles now. That new cooler should rock. Do you expect to loose much boost? What are you doing with the old cooler from procharger?

Chingon, I'll page lm7.

Yea, turbo for sure... I know with the right combo these prochargers can make some mad power. It's just you have to rev them to dang high.

I expect to gain boost. According to some intercooler flow charts, the ATI restricts 2-3psi at 500 flywheel hp. It's also less than 50 percent efficient the way its mounted.

The one I have coming is a 15" high X 20" wide X 4.5" thick. It only loses .5 psi at 500 hp.

The ATI unit is 6" high X 18" wide X 2.5 thick.

I'll probably sell the old cooler.

gee, that will be tight!! How are you gonna mount that sucker? Are you planning to put it behind the grill somehow? Make sure to talk lots of pictures so you can share the install-how-to. I wonder if you will get more boost sooner then? How long till it is installed?

Not related: Did you take your rear blocks out and level out the front with the torsion bars? I was thinking about doing that when I get home in a few weeks.

I should get it next week. I'm planning on mounting it on a 45 degree angle from right behind the bumper angled down toward the front transfer case.

I still have the blocks in. I'm still debating on that one.

Guess I shouldn't call it a front mount since it isn't going in the front. Just a bigger intercooler.
