That sounds like the stock 6L cam. I think you have the numbers reversed - its a 198 207.

02denali - most of the time when guys quote cam specs, we say the intake duration first, then exhaust. EX: 212/218 is 212 intake 218 exhaust. You are quoting those numbers out of that little LS1 book by Enders. He listed the numbers in reverse order. So that cam is a 198 intake 207 exhaust.

Sounds more like a 2K Vette cam to me. Same as the one I had in my truck for a while. Nice cheap mod to wake it up a little.

With a 198 dur and .500 lift, would this not be a good torque cam down low over the stock cam?

..or does the 15.5 lsa move the power band higher, or reduce the power gains down low?

Yeah, his power should come on lower in the band then mine. I'm running the I think 198/209 .500 .500 119.5 LSA and the power hits a little late, but on the 115.5 LSA it should hit a lot sooner. Basically the same cam just different LSA...Zed

yes it is the 2k vette cam and i dont have the numbers right lol
no i havent went to the track yet, and yes it feels better then the stock cam and pulls great,bigtex sorry for misplaceing the numbers lol and thanks for noticing.
well had the first race with it and well see ya laters lol, then he pulls up and says he only has a V6 and i said so do i lol ahhahaaa
