unless he wants a bunch of people telling him to debadge/colormatch/become a supporting member......GMFS is a waste of time.
Aside form the V6 itself....I think most of the issue with the 4.3 fullsize lies in the fact that it's coupled with a 4l60 and shitty shift programming/torque management. A gear swap would probably help more than a cam swap as most came with the 3:31? gears. I know my 06 has the factory pedestal mount roller rockers, EGRless intake and upgraded MPFI injectors.

Go ahead and have some fun with your V6. I have an 2000 S-10 extreme
with a 4.3 w/4l60 3:73 rears,tuned and a few bolt ons. It runs 14.80s at 90+
I beat a lot of V8 full size trucks. they can't believe they got there ***

Yea Looks like I will be doing gears pretty quick actually and some other performance upgrades as well.
Gonna be able to have a blast and I'm thinking about doing some others but I'm not sure yet.
