does anyone know about the 1.85 rocker will do on a stock cam in a 4.8

I think you should try a convertor to match your cam. I would think a LS6 cam and a 2200-2500 rpm stall so you don't kill your city mpg to much.

raise the lift a little bit, increasing power by 1 rwhp.. for about $250

I don't know if it will help, but here are the cam specs for my cam in my 4.8:

601/564 112lsa

This is a comp cam and i had to change the pushrods and the valve springs to get this cam to work in my truck and still be reliable. And as you can see from my SIG that I make great power for a lil ol' 4.8. And she pulls from idle to redline! Just make sure that you get a good tune. Thats where all the power is hidden.

the duration is:

@ .050 is 214/220

Idling at a light this thing sounds like an old muscle car....

hey man you have a remus exhaust? what kind of truck? I have an 04 yukon with a remus cat-back and it sounds great but drones over 68mph.....you have this problem?
