Well, a cam swap in these engines isn't very much work. If you're not changing springs, a cam swap can be done in less than three hours. And you can get an ls1 cam for $20 whereas a comp cam for instance is over $300. I was just letting him know it is good cheap hp. I remember seeing a dyno graph of an ls1 cam in a 4.8l, and showed around 20-25 hp gain. I think that is a damn good deal.

what show were you at? who were you talking to? Chances are it was me. I am the only one around with those dyno numbers on a 4.8. where are you from?
