yes its a 5.3 and i plan on putting a 3400-3600 stall and look in sig for other mods

With those mods and stall size id go for the 224/228 112lsa. I actually run a 224/230 110lsa with a 3600 stall and runs like a beast.

you will be fine with the 224/228, I would get that one.
